14 Olde Factory Antiques

The Hummelstown Shoe Factory, which is now known as The Olde Factory, was constructed in 1898. The Shoe Factory was shut down in 1917 and reopened as The Harrisburg Silk Mill in 1919.

The business was shut down again in 1929. The Dress Uniform Company reopened in the same location in 1930.

The structure housed Hesteco Manufacturing Company in 1970, which made children’s apparel there. Over 150 vendors offering antiques, crafts, jewelry, books, glassware, primitives, and decorating supplies were present when The Olde Factory debuted in 1996.

The 25,000-square-foot Olde Factory has three stories and is handicapped and elevator accessible.
