The whole family is encouraged to dress up as a Viking warrior, god, or goddess! The entire family is invited to dress up as a god, goddess, or Viking warrior.
The event will feature the Mead Hall, a 1200 Viking Torchlight Procession, the World’s Strongest Viking Competition, the dragging of a Viking Longship around the village green, over 30 Fireballs and Fire Torches, and a massive Fireworks display to close it out.
The Torchlight Procession is an event featuring fire and wax-based torches and so all participants take part at their own risk. All Torches are wax based (like a big candle) and safety guards are supplied to protect carrier hands from dripping wax.
Participants in the Procession under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years old. The festival’s organizers are unable to be held accountable for kids who are toting a torch. All children must have parental guidance.
